So, I'm an American. I have lived on the European continent off and on for the better part of 25 years now, mostly in Germany. I have American/German children, including a young daughter.
- Having watched what is unfolding in France, especially the video of the young man trying to set the woman's head on fire ... then the fireman on fire, the kid trying to rip the head off the statue of the Virgin Mary, female teachers being brutalized ... so much more ... I think it is perhaps time to get those who remain in my family on this continent, off of it, especially my daugther.
- There is simply little remaining which holds people together ... no common language, no culture, no religion, politicians care about little aside from getting re-elected and holding on to power. The bureaucracy is smothering and robs young people of most chances. One is just left with a very empty, cold feeling living in Europe these days.
