My favorite shows aren't even a 7/10 on IMDb and it makes me happy. No unwanted attention and politics.
Zero no Tsukaima
Kancolle (Season 1)
Idolm@ster U149
Black Bullet
I don't care what is popular, I care what is good and my opinion is superior to yours, I'm sry, not sry.
@Hank_Hill_1953 I don't think the real fans actually do that.
I think it's common sense by now that fiction is fiction and can't be compared to reality.
I like Re:Zero ver much, only watched about 6 episodes of TenSura and dropped it and watched the first 2 Seasons of Mushoku Tensei, I think it gets worse over time but will probably watch the third season once I'm bored.
Should I give TenSura a second try?
@Smthingedgy You do realize this is only true if you were 10 when Bitcoin got big, right? And even then you have all the other opportunities. Red button is only the worse option if you're a minor now.
@ChibiReviews True, same thing for Romance. If a Story has controversial topics people call it trash, it can only be considered peak if it's vanilla. Kinda annoying.
@danatsukiel@Hideo_Fufujima I fail to see how no "sexualized" lolis in another completely unrelated work of his is somehow proof that Re:Zero ist not a lolicon anime.
Tbh. It just sounds that you have an issue with loli characters and don't want it to be a lolicon anime.
@absoluteyuriii People used to call Anime like Eromanga Sensei trash as a joke even tho it's objectively good.
But of course there is actual trash nowadays like *insert generic isekai slop*.
It's not always obvious which one they mean.
Except it has no different meaning. Is it so hard to accept that even in traditional Christian countries, mist people celebrate it without religious thoughts.
You guys still insist that non-religious Christmas is a Japanese novelty when it's really not.
If I had to keep in every English loan word just because the voice actor read it, I would end up with a horribly stilted dialog because loan words often morph and take on different meanings when imported. That, not coincidentally, is the crux of the โHappy Holidaysโ change.
Otakus want the concept of Foreignization. It's a way of translating stuff, keeping the original culture. It features a "literal translation" and uses TL notes to explain more difficult concepts.
The Anime casuals want cultural Neutralization. To remove Japanese culture from it.
