@JakeDNVR The substitution works when your QB is playing well, but if he’s not, you need to stick with one RB, maybe two max, and let them wear the defense down, get into a rhythm, and eventually break one.
Start rotating later in the game. Or, if you’re going to substitute, be strategic
@JakeDNVR In practice, he needs to wear ufc gloves and after practice watch film and deeply analyze what about his technique or execution is allowing the catch if he felt a quick tug would have stopped it. His problem is he’s a perfectionist
@CollegeSaturday He needs to be better.. shuffle his feet and not lunge. That’s a DB coming at him. He can’t ever play pro ball if he can’t block a DB.
@DgfZell He prevents big plays but uses his hands too much. Two things. 1) In practice, he needs to wear mits and do pushups for everytime a guy catches a ball on him for catches where he felt he wouldn’t stopped it if he tugged a bit. 2) be okay with a catch. Just be aggressive
@OverthinkBuffs I’m not sure he’s 100% healthy with his elbow. So blocking may be a liability. He also needs to run the route tough. He loves making his routes creative ⛹🏾♂️, but I don’t think that timing is aligned with juju.
These aren’t MAC dbs. They will put their long arms on you.
@OverthinkBuffs Cree can also call “in - in - in” they help with the post that stokes was covering as well. Tbh this is on Stokes. Young player panicked and squeezed one too much.
@OverthinkBuffs Still a good scheme by Chip Kelly.
But Stokes squeezed the post way too tight. When I played we were taught to midpoint if you had two fades. At least make the QB see a body lol
@OverthinkBuffs Rando needs to stay to the right of the hash and stay in the peddle and keep his eyes on the post so Stokes can play the fade by the RB. Instead, Rando cheated toward the WR who was the threat and ended up helping Cree. It’s cover 3 so they need to split the field in 3 evenly.
