@stsiang Just wanted to say that my partner and I are close to memorizing TOESY TOES, we've read it to our son so much. We love it! Partner likes to pause at "Oh no! Where did they go?" and pretend the book just ends on a cliffhanger. ๐
My toddler indoors: I am gonna cartwheel across every surface in here YEEHAW PARKOUR BABY!
My toddler outdoors: Be reasonable, Mother, I cannot possibly move until I have examined and catalogued every pine needle and piece of mulch in this two-foot square
Our toddler was looking at a photo of a nighttime scene, and I said, "oh, that's dark." Apparently he liked that, because he's now going around saying, "oh, that's DARK" like he's listening to a true crime podcast.
Got an ad for Valentine's Day kid clothes.
Sample "girl" shirt: a dog and kitty with paintbrushes painting hearts on the dog's fur
Sample "boy" shirt: a red monster truck that says "Heart Crusher"
"You want me to move a cloud." Responses to My Toddlerโs Requests for Assistance with Physically Impossible Tasks by @AnicaLewis https://t.co/QoMpdxI4OX
It was only this year that I realized Good King Wenceslaus and his page are bringing the food to the peasant's HOUSE. I always thought they were taking it straight out to him and planning to stand there and watch him eat in the snow. ๐
@WordsofRABlack I also read some really popular established authors - Debbie Macomber and Taylor Jenkins Reid - for the first time this year, and I think I'll read them again.
@WordsofRABlack I really enjoyed Molly Horton Booth's graphic novel Twelfth Grade Night, and plan to read other books in the series when they come out!
