Where do the billions go? MDCN rakes in hundreds of millions yearly from doctors' license, CPD, & Good Standing fees, and they're still pushing for more.
Meanwhile, Nigerian doctors earn peanuts & work in ruins. Why pay a council that extorts instead of lobbying?
URGENT CALL FOR HELP!!!!!
This is a young medical doctor called Dr Innocent. He’s working as a house officer at the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital in Calabar, Cross River State.
Dr Innocent and his other doctor colleagues who are also house officers have NOT been paid for 290 days.
Yes you read that right.
A whole 290 days of working as a medical doctor with ZERO pay. That’s about 10 months work with NO pay.
According to Dr Innocent,
The Ministry of Defence has refused to pay their salaries for no reason. This young medical doctors are being worked like slaves while receiving ZERO pay.
They have nobody to speak for them.
They have nobody to fight for them.
They are suffering and dying in silence.
Please if you see this tweet,
Kindly retweet, share and tag General Christopher Musa the Minister of Defence, and also please tag the Ministry of Defence,
I don’t know these doctors personally,
But we can’t watch evil and say nothing.
Please don’t let this young doctors suffer in vain, they have families who depend on them for support and survival,
It will only take you 2seconds,
Kindly retweet this post. This is the little we can do to help these doctors from the evil injustice done to them by the Ministry of Defence.
Pls share and retweet. Thank you.

These are the issues 🤦🏻
It's not about House officers being paid but about it recurring again.
What we are advocating for is a permanent solution to the problem.
Lets fix this once and for all .
Also, shame on the medical elders who had their own elders fight for them and get them comfortable lives but cannot do the same for younger doctors.
Just toxicity and agbaya behaviour.
These Police Officers just parked me at Bolade, Oshodi, pointed guns at me, and forced me to transfer N100,000 them. When my bank app showed "exceeded transfer limit", they dragged me to a nearby POS to do it with my card.
They initially demanded 150k each.
They were 4 in number.
These are the names I could copy:

It is easy to mock doctors until someone you love is breathless, bleeding, septic, unconscious, or dying, and suddenly you don’t want a “textbook on rails.”
You want a human being who knows what to do and is willing to carry the responsibility.
AI will change medicine, but medicine was never just memorizing textbooks, it was carrying risk for another human life.
Two things are common among all quacks pretending be to be doctors
1-They are all trained by professional doctors
2-They don't even know the severity of their crime.
Just look at this quack trained by Dr Uzoma to run his hospital for him in Rivers state
I can confidently tell you, that Dr Uzoma is no longer Nigeria, he might have Japa with the family to Canada.
MDCN needs to start withdrawing the licenses of doctors training quacks in their facility.
Nigeria does not have 55,000 doctors actively catering for 220 million people. Sad and scary but true. This number may simply reflect the number of Medical Doctors who registered with the regulatory body in Nigeria… A lot from the 55,000 registered are most likely not practicing in Nigeria.
If it’s 55,000 Doctors to 220 Million Nigerians, Doctor-to- Patient ratio is at 1 Doctor to 4,000 Nigerians
The real ratio is however closer to 1 Doctor to 10,000 Nigerians..
Drop in the comment section the reason you think is responsible for Doctors leaving Nigeria.
