B S F के डिप्टी कमाण्डेन्ट और राष्ट्रपति द्वारा गैलेंट्री अवार्ड से सम्मानित रहे कोटा राजस्थान के सुभाष शर्मा जी जब कारगिल युद्ध मे देश की रक्षा करते हुए शहीद हुए थे, तब उनके पीछे छूट गए थे उनकी पत्नी बबीता शर्मा और 9 महीने का बेटा क्षितिज। उनके लिए ये एक त्रासदी से कम नही था। बच्चे को तो अभी पिता का मतलब भी नही पता था।

सामान्यतः एक दुधमुँहे बच्चे के साथ अकेली औरत जीवन के संघर्षों में दम तोड़ दे। पर बबीता शर्मा की अदम्य इक्षाशक्ति और समर्पण के आगे नियति ही उनकी मार्गदर्शक और सहायक बन गयी। तब से लेकर अब तक 22 वर्ष बीत गए, बबीता जी की आंखों में उनका कमिटमेंट हर पल जीवित रहा। पति के शहीद होने पर किया गया उनका प्रण कुछ दिनों पहले तब साकार हो गया जब उनका 22 वर्षीय बेटा क्षितिज IMA देहरादून से आर्मी ऑफिसर बन के निकला। क्षितिज उन्ही वादियों में देश की रक्षा में तैनात होंगे जहां कभी उनके वीर पिता की बंदूकें गरजती थीं।

बबीता शर्मा जी को उनके समर्पण और इस देश के लिए किए गए बलिदानों के लिए शत शत नमन है। ऐसी वीरांगनाओं और वीर माताओं की वजह से ही

Just watched Governor: The Silent Saviour.

The film tells the extraordinary story of S. Thank God Rajiv Gandhi was not there in that decisive moment & Narasimha Rao became Prime Minister. PM Rao took bold decisions,dismantled the Licence Raj, opened India’s economy & rescued the country from an economic disaster.But what did PM Rao receive in return from the Sonia Gandhi led Congress?Humiliation and a systematic attempt to erase his legacy.

When PM Rao died in 2004, his funeral carriage was stopped outside the gates of the Congress headquarters. Instead, they were pressured to take his body to Hyderabad.
