भारतीय टीम के युवा बैटर वैभव सूर्यवंशी के एक रूप ने हर किसी को चौंका दिया है तो दूसरे रूप ने ये बताया कि वह कितने संस्कारी हैं। 15 जून को इंडिया ए बनाम श्रीलंका ए के बीच खेले गए मैच का नतीजा सुपर ओवर से निकला, जिसमें श्रीलंका ने इंडिया ए को हराकर फाइनल के लिए दावा मजबूत किया।

मैच के बाद वैभव की श्रीलंकाई प्लेयर से लड़ाई हो गई, जिसका वीडियो खूब तेजी से वायरल हुआ। इसके अलावा फिर उनका एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ, जिसमें उन्हें श्रीलंका के पहले वनडे कप्तान का आशीर्वाद लेते हुए देखा गया। इस दौरान वैभव ने बेहद सम्मान के साथ उनकी बातें भी सुनी।

दरअसल, इंडिया ए और श्रीलंका ए के बीच मैच के बाद एक और वीडियो सबके सामने आया, जिसमें वैभव श्रीलंका के पूर्व क्रिकेटर और इस टीम के पहले वनडे कप्तान अनुरा टेनेकुन के पैर छुकर आशीर्वाद लेते हुए नजर आ रहे हैं। साल 1975 में वनडे विश्व कप में श्रीलंकाई टीम की कप्तानी कर चुके टेनेकुन दांबुला में मौजूद थे और उन्होंने वैभव से मुलाकात की।

वैभव ने सबसे पहले टेनेकुन का आशीर्वाद लिया और टेनेकुन ने वैभव को अपने अनुभव के आधार पर काफी अहम सलाह दी। टेनेकुन ने कहा कि बाहरी बातें पर ध्यान देने या फिर लोगों की आलोचनाओं पर ध्यान देने की जगह अपने खेल पर पूरी तरह से फोकस करना चाहिए।

कुछ दिन पहले विराट कोहली ने भी वैभव सूर्यवंशी को यही बात कही थी। RCB के एक वायरल वीडियो में दिग्गज क्रिकेटर विराट, वैभव से मिले थे और बोले कि उसे सिर्फ अपने क्रिकेट पर ध्यान देना चाहिए।

IPL 2026 सीजन में 700 से ज्यादा रन बनाने के बाद वैभव के श्रीलंका में भी कुछ फैंस बन गए हैं। टेनेकोन ने कहा, "मैं IPL में उसकी बल्लेबाजी से काफी प्रभावित हुआ। जिस तरह से वो छक्के-चौके मारता है, वो वाकई कमाल है। उम्मीद है वो ऐसे ही खेलता रहेगा।"
