Server passing out addresses, just keep throwing up a message like its not authorized. Going to circle back on this later after I get most of the lab environment rebuilt.
Currently building out my DHCP server for my lab environment. Running into an DHCP activation error. Already disabled PFsense firewall from passing out IP addresses.

@getthesurgery True. And on second thought, he only replied with
“385”
and not
“Hey, I can do it for $385 and can get this done for you now or (insert available times).”
or something similar. So honestly he act like he didn’t want to do the work from jump when I really think about it.
Honestly buddy should have just not responded if he felt some type of way.
But he could have been asking that because the first quote and second quote can possibly be completed all at once to reduce the labor cost.
niggas so weird cause i was genuinely about to respond and then i realized... who said i got the first repair done? but even if i did.. you're mad someone else did it and passing up on money for a different repair?
Template VM fully updated and patched and now shutting it down to convert into a template for use.
Next up:
Secondary DC, DHCP Server, AND SQL server to start building out SCCM environment.
Created a virtual 2022 server standard VM and promoted it to a domain controller and created a domain.
Currently working on a template VM to make deploying future servers faster. VMware tools, versus converted to standard from evaul, etc.
A few things iv already done so far:
Host has been wiped and rebuilt as esxi and created a Vcenter appliance.
Created a PFSENSE firewall VM with two network adapters, one for WAN connectivity and another for LAN for the VMs to connect to.
Seeing this I remember my first job through Apex systems 5 years ago as a Field Tech for a client. 2 month contract that extended to 6 total before I left.
Packing boxes w/ PCs and doing tier 1 for in house and remote end users.
Crazy how fast you can adv in this industry.
Four years ago today, while studying for CCNA, a recruiter from @TEKsystems reached out to me about a Help Desk Analyst role. Less than a week later, I accepted the position and made the career switch.
It's still the "hardest" job I've had since.
