Animethon is excited to announce veteran voice actress and singer Minori Chihara for her first ever appearance in Canada!
Best known for her iconic role as Yuki Nagato in the beloved series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Minori has built an impressive career voicing a diverse range of characters across many beloved anime series. Her other notable voice acting roles include Mitsuki Nase from Beyond the Boundary, Chiaki Minami from Minami-ke, Miku Izayoi in Date A Live, Camie Utsushimi in My Hero Academia, Leon from THE IDOLM@STER game series, and more, showcasing her versatility as a performer across many roles.
As a solo artist, Minori has been responsible for numerous anime theme songs throughout her career and has written her own lyrics to various tracks as well. Among her most celebrated works are "Michishirube" and "Amy," both theme songs for the Violet Evergarden series, which resonated deeply with fans worldwide for their emotional depth and beauty.
