The Bitcoin Season And The Alt Season:

Every bullrun cycle has two major seasons - The Bitcoin season and The Alt coins season.

The crypto bullrun mostly starts with Bitcoin peaking in price and probably hitting a new all-time-high (ATH).

This always happens months after Bitcoin halving.

That period of time in the bullrun cycle where we experience a consistent rise in Bitcoin price is called the Bitcoin season.

That's when FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) sets in, and you will see everyone trying to grab a share of the crypto pie.

You already should have noticed it by now as Bitcoin keeps hitting new highs while most Alt coins (other coins) are still sleeping.

This is because there's more investment inflow into Bitcoin mostly by the big whales and institutional investors.

This year's Bitcoin season was further spiked by the approval of Bitcoin ETFs which gave Bitcoin a more widespread adoption and attracted more investors.

Bitcoin ETF is simply like the stock version of Bitcoin which means that people could now buy Bitcoin as a stock.

Because the stock market is well regulated, investors now have more confidence investing in Bitcoin.

So, investors who weren't comfortable investing into Bitcoin as a coin opted for Bitcoin ETFs, hence, attracting more capital inflow into the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Another factor that fueled the Bitcoin season (and by extension, the bullrun cycle) was the electoral victory of Donald Trump, who has maintained his pro-crypto stance during and after the US elections.

Recently, he appointed Paul Aktins (another pro-crypto top gun) as the US SEC chairman, and this is in line with his vision of making the US the crypto capital of the world.

Other powerful nations like Russia, China, and even Brazil are also following suit with talks of building Bitcoin reserves for their countries.

Even Amazon, the fourth most valuable company in the world by marketcap, is now considering adopting Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset.

You know what this means?

Massive mainstream acceptance for crypto!.

Wonder why this year's bullrun season is historic?

It isn't just the halving.

The Bitcoin ETFs approval, Trump's electoral victory, and massive mainstream acceptance all culminated to the hypes and pumps.

And this is why many have dubbed this year's bullrun as the biggest ever.

But then....

The Bitcoin season favors mostly the big whales and institutional investors who are heavily invested in Bitcoin.

Then, we have the Alt season.

Basically, every other coin aside Bitcoin is referred to as an Alt coin.

The Alt season is when the Alt coins (all other coins) starts to peak in price.

As Bitcoin has already paved the way, attention will start getting to Alt coins.

The Alt season usually starts when Bitcoin dominance drops, the price of Bitcoin retraces, and investors now move from investing in Bitcoin to Alt coins investment.

We are gradually approaching the Alt season.

For retail (small) investors like us, the Alt season is when we make money the most if we position well ahead of it.

Positioning well means predicting, calculating ,and buying Alt coins in their early stage before they pump in price.

This explains the whole hype around the bullrun season.

Every crypto investor is hoping to buy and hold coins that could do 10X to 100000X returns when the Alt season finally peaks.

And, this is the point where new millionaires emerged in crypto space.

Your $1000 investment if well positioned, could grow to $100,000.

Whether you can flip $1000 to $100,000 or vice-versa depends on how well positioned you are before the peak of the Alt season.

The coins you buy, how you buy and when you buy all comes into play.
