@AleximoYT @pokeferlax -later lined up perfectly with their genders being revealed in the anime in the year after. So to me, Ash’s Dragonite is definitely female. I don’t know why they’d specifically make it female unlike every other game distribution if they weren’t told to do so by the anime team :)

@AleximoYT @pokeferlax they were instructed that Dragonite is female, and thus to make her female in the distribution. It seems weird to randomly make her female otherwise. Furthermore, other Pokémon - like Iris’s Axew and Cilan’s Pansage - had their genders first revealed in game distributions, which-
