If GOSH ends up being the acronym for “Guardian of the Strait of Hormuz,” at least the name will finally match the world’s mood🙄

So I don’t usually do this, but I’d like to drop this here anyway. I’ve followed the late-night comedy scene for well over a decade now, and one of my all-time favorite shows, @colbertlateshow, got canceled last year and aired its final episode this week on the 21st.

You could feel it in every minute of the show. The guests, the lineup of people showing up for someone who brought so much joy into so many lives, the emotion without it ever becoming self-indulgent — and that final act itself was the crown jewel.
@ABsay_ek Love these anecdotes and stories about cricketers. Humanizes them and shows how their journey and struggle has paid off in the big stage. Very well captured @ABsay_ek
@kartik_kannan Core memory pro max! I didn't have an opportunity to watch games at the stadium till my 30s. But my first core memory of watching cricket live on TV was the Desert Storm innings in 1998. I may have watched cricket before that, but nothing else stuck as much as this did! 🔥🔥🔥
Tilak Verma's father Namboori Nagaraju, works as an electrician in Hyderabad. Another rags to riches story thanks to the IPL.
Tilak (India U19 2020 batch) is 19, has impressed on his debut for MI.
Bought in the auction for Rs. 1.7 Crs (SRH & CSK bid too). Father's reaction ♥️♥️
It was good meeting the Desi Aussies @faahil and @VAAChandran ( who also brought his 85 year old Test match loving mother as a tradition to the SCG)
