I've realized recently that personal branding matters just as much as improving my UGC skills.

Before joining AHA, I mostly focused on creating content and building a portfolio. Now I'm starting to understand that brands aren't just hiring a portfolio. They're hiring the person behind it too.

The more I show up, share what I'm learning, and let people get to know me, the more I understand why personal branding is so important.

People want to work with people. That's the lesson that's been sticking with me lately.

Finally got my first 2 “influencer type” sponsorships and it only took 5 months
