🚨 Modi Govt turns the tide on water security in Ladakh!

For decades, precious glacier water from Stok Kangri was flowing straight into the Indus and ending up in Pakistan while our farmers in the cold desert of Ladakh struggled for every drop.

After the Indus Waters Treaty was put on hold, the Modi government has now diverted 9 crore litres of water from Stok Nala into the Igoo-Phey irrigation canal without any extra budget!

✅ Thousands of acres of barren land in 12 villages are now getting daily water
✅ Decades-old water rationing finally ends

Earlier, under the Indus Treaty, India had to seek Pakistan’s permission, share blueprints, and wait years. Pakistan routinely objected.

Now India is free to use its own water for its own farmers without seeking anyone’s approval.

This is real “Jal Shakti” in action.

• Prafulla Sen was portrayed as corrupt and eventually removed from power.

• He was widely regarded as an exceptionally honest Chief Minister.

• In his final years, he reportedly lived in extreme hardship and even depended on students for shelter and support.

Is history repeating itself?

• West Bengal is now building a deep-sea port unlike any other such port in India.

• Once operational, it could reduce India's dependence on Sri Lanka and Singapore for maritime trade.

• It could also reduce Northeast India's dependence on Bangladesh.

• Is that why a campaign to malign Suvendu Adhikari has started?

• We admit that, for now, we have failed in our publicity and communication.

• But are we once again falling for propaganda from the Ananda Bazar group and other sections of the media?

• Are we repeating the same mistake that was allegedly made in the case of Prafulla Sen?

• History shows what happened to West Bengal after that.

• We must be careful not to repeat the same mistake again.

She "deserves" this hate because she:

-Gave Maximum Income Tax relief in Bharat's History by making income upto ₹12 Lakh non-taxable (₹12.75 for salaried employees)

-Announced major corporate tax rate cuts in Sept 2019 (22% for existing domestic companies, 15% for new manufacturing companies) to boost investment and competitiveness.

-Oversaw historic consolidation of public sector banks in 2020, merging 10 banks into 4 stronger entities (e.g., PNB, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, and Indian Bank).

-Played a pivotal role in launching and implementing the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan packages during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing large-scale economic relief and stimulus measures.

-Introduced and progressively strengthened the new simplified income-tax regime.

-Drove substantial improvement in GST collections and continued reforms to simplify the GST structure.

-Guided Bharat to become the world’s 5th largest economy (2022) and later the 4th largest economy by pulling Bharat from Fragile-5 where CONgress had left us.

-Strongly increased capital expenditure and advanced the National Infrastructure Pipeline to accelerate infrastructure development.

-Successfully brought the fiscal deficit down toward the target of below 4.5% of GDP.

And not to forget: Her greatest "Sin" was that she did it in Most "Turbulent" times which no other Finance Minister in history of "India" saw with everything happening at the same time..... Pandemic, Logistical & Fuel Supply Disruptions because of Russia-Ukraine & then US-Iran War.

She definitely deserves hate for STILL achieving these milestones (mentioned above) with her steady focus on fiscal prudence, structural reforms, and inclusive growth.

Today she stands "Small" as Bharat's first full-time woman Finance Minister,
longest continuous-serving Finance Minister of independent Bharat (since May 2019 till today, surpassing C. D. Deshmukh) who has presented a record number (9) of consecutive Union Budgets and that too under a tough task-master like PM .@narendramodi Ji & not under some lame duck like Manmohan Singh who wasn't even bothered about what's happening in Bharat.

Despite all this "bad" work, let me again wish a Very Happy Birthday to FM Nirmala Ji. May this birthday bring you good health, continued energy, and even greater success in your journey of nation-building. Wishing you a year filled with happiness, strength, and new milestones! 💐🎂
