A Class 8 student ended her life after claiming in a handwritten note that she could no longer bear the humiliation of being falsely accused of stealing money at her school in Karnataka's Bengaluru Urban district.

The incident was reported from Marasuru in Anekal taluk, where the girl, a student of a government higher primary school, was found dead at her residence on Thursday (july 9) night.

The incident came to light on Friday morning when her family found her. A case has been registered at the Suryanagar Police Station, and an investigation is underway.

Massive land scams have taken place there, and all the documentary evidence is readily available. Despite all the documents being out in the open, no investigation is being conducted, no FIR has been lodged, and no one is being arrested. Serious allegations are being openly made regarding the construction contracts and the companies involved. Engineers working on the construction are stating that a 40% commission was demanded, yet there is no probe into this. There has also been a massive theft of offerings, with numerous incidents captured on CCTV cameras, but no investigation has taken place. Instead, eight low-level individuals were merely arrested and thrown into jail, while attempts are being made to shield all the big names involved. Crores of devotees contributed to the construction of the temple from their hard-earned savings. Today, that faith has been deeply shattered..."
