This pandemic has affected everyone physically, mentally as well as economically
Many NITians are not in a position to pay the full 62k tuition fees as their parents have lost their jobs and are facing an economic crisis.

[Darshil Domadiya @DarshilDomadiya]

This fee hike is totally unfair with students in the same college and administration gave this fee structure notice 10 days before of 3rd semester starts.
PLZZ look into this matter.

Now we have a question that "Are we in an NIT?"

[Abhishek Maheshwari @samratab729]

We were proud to call our institute an autonomous one. But this autonomy has become a big burden on us.

When contacted SVNIT administration replied that they are autonomous institute and they can increase fees to any extent they want. Such autonomy is hurting and will continue to hurt..

That's unfair by any means. We were kept in the dark for an entire year and suddenly got shocked by this immoral action! #6xfeehike_msc_SVNIT #6xfeehike_msc_svnit

[Abhishek Maheshwari @samratab729]

but they did not provide us any such notice before admission or at the time of admission. We all took admission thinking the previous fee structure.
Many of us are not so well off to pay such high fees. And clearly SVNIT administration kept us in dark for one whole year.
