@imra_mra *explain herself and all they did was cancelled the file and asked her to apply again.
Though she send an email mentioning the whole thing but the process is get yourself physically present in RPO and all they do is cancel the file and ask you to reapply.

@imra_mra Yes, I know a person whose police verification was denied and marked her as non-citizen, where as her whole family have passport already. All that because she denied to go on a coffee date with the officer.
Had to visit the RPO 100s km away and expand herself and apply again.

Process wise govt had done a great job but mindset wise they left it at the wisdoms of same babus and govt contractors, who thinks they serving the govt not the public.

Govt is trying to simplify the process as much as possible while keeping necessary checks in place. But the problem is the babus and the govt contractors who working for govt forgets that its a service station meant to serve the public.

@RupayiRaja She is a Central staff supposed to get transferred out every 3 years across India so doesn’t make sense to force her to learn all languages across India.
However the branch should have few local language speakers to cater the non-English speaking local population.

What good is a bank if it’s not Kannada speaking? People can survive without services but cannot by hearing another Hindi word.
