IIT रुड़की से सिविल इंजीनियरिंग, कैलिफोर्निया यूनिवर्सिटी से पर्यावरण में Ph.D. और आई���ईटी कानपुर के HOD रहे!

चाहते तो विदेश में ऐश की जिंदगी जी सकते थे लेकिन उन्होंने इस देश के कृतघ्न लोगों के लिए लड़ना चुना।

न जाने क्यों उनका दिमाग फिरा कि इस देश को बचा लें तो वह गंगा को बचाने के लिए अनशन पर बैठ गए।

लेकिन हमें गंगा थोड़े ही बचानी थी, हमें तो गंगा के नाम पर चल रहे धंधे को बचाना था! नतीजा? 111 दिन के अनशन के बाद उन्होंने अपने प्राण त्याग दिए।

इस महान विचारक की शहादत इस देश के दलाल मीडिया, उन्मादी लोगों और खोखले राष्ट्रवाद के शोर में बस एक छोटी सी खबर बनकर दब गई।

मुख्यधारा का मीडिया धार्मिक ध्रुवीकरण और राजनीतिक नूराकुश्ती बेचने में व्यस्त रहा और इस व्यवस्था ने उन्हें चुपचाप निगल लिया।

हम सब मरेंगे क्योंकि हमने कभी सही लोगों को नहीं पहचाना। हम बस दलालों को सिर आंखों पर बिठाते रहे और देश को बचाने निकला एक सच्चा इंसान घुट-घुट कर चला गया।
