@AimanBbt@PeakCapTrading Congrats Aiman! Caught that $AAPL breakout a little late (1min ORB) but wanted it at the break of the premarket high. Only A+ setup I saw this morning
@AimanBbt@PeakCapTrading Definitely! Turning a corner at the end of April and beginning of May then took a week off between Funded accounts and jumped back in too soon. In test until I get that consistency and feel back.
@AimanBbt@BearBullTraders Was 81.82 your stop loss? And if so, did you mark those levels after the trade or do you have a script to show your entry/stop when the order is placed? Thanks Aiman!
@marlowtrades@BearBullTraders@PeakCapTrading Wish I was able to spend more time learning from you in the afternoon slot, but got so much from your lessons in Bootcamp! My hope is everyone is growing for the right reasons... community is why I joined.
Small green day today with the #BBTfamily . Weak market at the open- caught a 5ORB on $NVDA for a small win then got into this $MU trade for a 5ORB with relative strength to the upside. Added in looking for $446 on Market Atlas but eventually the market dragged it back down.
Last weekend I watched the @netflix live stream of @AlexHonnold climbing Taipei 101 - one of the worldโs tallest buildings (without ropes, of course, in pure Alex style).
During the broadcast, one of the announcers mentioned how careful Alex is on any climb not to get ahead of himself or think heโs at the top before heโs actually there.
I was thinking about how important that is and how much it relates to trading. The moment you start thinking about the reward (i.e. the profit, the โtopโ) your focus begins to slip. Your mind leaves the world of process and execution and shifts toward PnL. When that happens, you start managing the trade differently. You rush, hesitate, and begin to micromanage. You stop trading the plan and start trading the outcome.
Climbing and trading both reward the same thing: presence. Staying where your feet are. Executing the next move without predicting how it ends. When you stay grounded in the process, execution improves and profits become the byproduct, just like reaching the top of a climb.
-1R day. 3 losses. First trade on $ARM wasn't until 20mins after the open, but was a Cat 3 trade. Tried $PLTR twice, one for a perfect VWAP break and retest that failed and then an ORB. Choppy market today with everything being pulled by the $SPY @BearBullTraders and the #BBTFamily.
Two trades today. First, 5ORB on $INTC breakeven. Second was this VWAP break and retest on $PLTR. Still working on waiting for my targets before taking a partial. One add on a clean pullback. $170 clear liquidity on Atlas didn't quite get there @BearBullTraders
@LA_AM_Trader I like your trading style, entering sometimes within the first minute...I had strong conviction on $AMD long pre-market but focusing on 5ORB discipline. What was your signal to get in where you did? I also missed a nice 2nd move on it as I was in $PLTR
Breakeven day today. 2 small losses on failed $INTC breakouts, but caught this nice VWAP break and retest on $TSM with @BearBullTraders and @CarlosmBBT Didn't have many shares left so went all out at $350 with no orders above on Atlas and a full Daily move.
