VIDEO | J&K: The Forward Posts in Akhnoor Sector have emerged as a symbol of India’s tactical edge. From these positions, Indian forces destroyed several Pakistani posts, demonstrating the Army’s firepower and precision. Here’s what an Army officer said:

"Following Operation Sindoor and the ceasefire agreement, it was evident that Pakistan intended to violate the ceasefire, particularly in the hilly sectors. On the morning of the 10th, around 5:30 AM, they initiated unprovoked firing from their forward posts. Their mortars and artillery targeted civilian areas, but the firing appeared rushed and uncoordinated, almost as if they were caught off guard and unprepared. In contrast, our forces were fully alert. Senior leadership had already briefed us about their terrorists infiltration. Our weapons were well-calibrated and our positions strategically sighted. That morning, it wasn’t rain that fell from the sky, it was the thunder of our firepower raining down on them."

A mega Ex- Servicemen #ESM Rally was conducted in the abode of mighty Kanchenjunga, #Darjeeling under the aegis of #TrishaktiCorps . 2648 ESMs, 23 Veer Naris, 30 War Veterans & 8 Gallantry Award Winners attended the event. 

Grievances were addressed by representatives of 29 Record Offices, PCDA (Prayagraj), CDA(Patna), Zila Sainik Board, VSK, Agniveer Cell and Nationalized Banks. 

Mrs Rasika Chaube, Financial Adviser, Defence Services, #MoD and Station Commander, Darjeeling inaugurated a #SPARSH Centre that will cater to more than 13000 ESM & their dependents. 

In- situ medical & dental care provided by a team of doctors including specialists & paramedics from #IndianArmy, State Govt & Private Nursing Homes.
