@CharlesReding67@ryancbriggs Most anglos in Quebec speak French and if they don’t, they leave. West Island anglos who refuse are like those Japanese soldiers fighting on in the jungles of Asia.
@realsashastone she constantly told people you have to be tough to be in the public eye and went on ad nauseam about how tough she was. You can't have it both ways.
@livvyivvyivvy@anyadotnet@lulu_solomo All The parents in the McCann case were completely irresponsible. It drives me
Nuts when people try to justify their behaviour. But my gid they paid an awful price.
@anyadotnet@lulu_solomo No. They did not have a baby monitor. They returned to the apartment to check on the kids. Also it was several hundred metres away.
I’m not one of those people who thinks kids are so much work, yada, yada, yada, but this “blissful newborn bubble” stuff is total BS.
Not to mention, it’s rare for the mother of a one-week old baby to have hair and makeup for a photo.
On May 1st, Viviana aka “Vivi” joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love. 💕
She is perfect and healthy, and her big brother is joyfully adjusting to life with his new baby sister. We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble.
Thank you to everyone who reached out with prayers during my pregnancy - I truly felt them throughout the entire experience. God is Good.🙏
I had some questions I wished she had asked, but as a former broadcast producer, I have worked with a variety of excellent interviewers with different styles. They are not always going to ask your pet questions. It doesn't make them ignorant, underprepared or lazy. They can't only care about one question, they have to think about the interview as a whole.
And, as a whole, this was a very successful interview.
@noam_dworman@Hormesislover No, it was a fantastic interview. The fact was her time was limited and she could not hone in on everything. She had to pick her battles. And she has a different interview style than you do.
Exactly. It sounds like the kid doesn’t like going out if she behaves badly every time. Why would you take her home as punishment?
It’s hard to give advice without knowing more details. But my hunch is they should try going out for some kid-centred activities and see what happens.
Problematic parenting alert.
Being bullied by your 3yo is wild!
Pick her up, kicking & screaming, and take her out. The second she starts, y'all are done & leaving. And you are not leaving to go do something else, you are going home where she'll be bored & have to find something to do by herself.
I do not understand these parents who are scared of their very young children.
