@Jzuni887@techteach_csub Using Slides to embed literacy games into your lesson is such a wonderful tool. You don't have to switch between browser tabs to do it. I make match games for sight words using Educaplay and love that you can embed the link to play from the slide! #EDTE4100Fall2020TC12
@techteach_csub Prezi is a great tool that can be used to create videos to assist with teaching literacy. One opportunity for lower grades is to go over sight words each week using a Prezi to show the word, show a corresponding picture, say the word & have students repeat. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC12
@rocha_anyela@techteach_csub Google Forms is such a great tool for assessment. I appreciate that it provides a way to help grade answers immediately. It is also a test that can be saved and edited in the future. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC11
@techteach_csub A tech resource I would use for Formative assessment is Edpuzzle because of the quick checkpoints. For Summative assessment, I would use Flipgrid so students can let me know what they have learned at the end of whatever unit we were working on. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC11
@maleah_brooks@techteach_csub I love Kahoot but have enjoyed learning about Edpuzzle. I like that you can type in a subject and it will bring up different options that have already been created. I like that it can be done individually or as a class. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC10
@techteach_csub A great technology resource I can utilize to help my students improve study skills is https://t.co/YrEfVRuIIL. It allows teachers the ability to create and share different types of games for them to play to help them study and is easy to distribute. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC10
@KatieEd88013087@techteach_csub Having the opportunity to take a quick quiz and have the data on a computer screen is advantageous when checking for understanding. It is so much faster than having students write down the answers on paper and then have to check them all manually. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC9
@techteach_csub As students move through a lesson you can have them pause at certain points to check for understanding. EX: If they watched a 5 min video & have a few questions to answer on forms we can assess who was able to retain info & who needs to watch the video again. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC9
@rocha_anyela@techteach_csub Using Slides as a way for students to work in groups and collaborate is a great idea! When they get to talk to their peers about ideas they have, the information is more likely to cement itself into their minds. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC8
@techteach_csub Using Slides to break a lesson into smaller parts can help to promote an inclusive classroom. It has the ability to present not only words on a screen, but pictures, diagrams, charts, videos, and audio. We can control the content to meet our students needs. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC8
@JessicaBerdejo@techteach_csub @hoodamath is such a fun tool, not only for education but for motivation! One of my son's teachers used it & he loved it so much he would come home & ask to play it. There are many options to meet each learner's needs with the many games & levels. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC7
@techteach_csub @craftclassgame is a great tool to utilize that can help improve motivational and social behavior in a classroom. Having a fun game to look forward to can create great motivation. Students can also work together & help each other while playing. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC7
@zocim0@techteach_csub You point out an important quality to Google Docs! It is a great place to help provide suggestions on improving a student's written work. Being able to read what needs to be corrected and correcting it themselves is an important process. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC6
@techteach_csub Google Education has wonderful options to meet the needs of students with academic/behavioral issues. Google Calendar to keep the students' schedule, Google Meet to provide live instruction & Google Slides to help w/interactive learning while in Google Meet. #EDTE4100Fall2020TC6
@awkannnie @tom_karnes@aavina33@DrEddiesClass As a person who is only fluent in English, I think Google Translate is a great way for me to communicate with ELL students. Especially when they want to know what a specific word means. @Duncannedd#CSUBTEd
