A patient with an intracerebral hemorrhage underwent head CT & surgery. He later developed postoperative complications, requiring a repeat CT scan.

Guess what? SHA is telling the patient he has “depleted his CT scans for the year.” The Patient can’t afford the CT out of pocket!

A clinically necessary CT scan is not a luxury. Patient care should come first.
This is total madness!
