Impactful learning @LordRobertsFI I. grade 4/5 for #bullyingawarenessandpreventionweek. Students created a paper person and saw that if someone causes hurt, represented by rips and wrinkles, there is still a lasting impact. Continue to work to be a buddy!
Kindergarten students @LordRobertsFI are thinking deeply about volume and space today as they consider the amount of coloured water in three different containers #tvdsbkindergarten#tvdsbmath
Mme Charbonneau is facilitating learning for our Gr. 3 students today about the Queen of Soul and her contributions and lasting impact on music. Also connected to our school goal of improving oral French as students discussed the meaning of the word respect.
@LordRobertsFI is happy to participate in #pinkshirtday2023 as we begin our défi de gentillesse Jamboard promoting positive acts of kindness in our school.
Gr 6 students @LordRobertsFI engaged in impactful learning about gender stereotypes. They engaged in critical thinking about views of the ideal man or woman and then about an ideal human. The results were enlightening & students created positive collages and poetry on humanity.
@TweedsmuirS is pleased to continuing welcoming the students of Fairmont PS who are visiting our school this week. Students are meeting potential classmates for September for both @TweedsmuirS & Summerside PS #tvdsb

@LondonKnights@FanshaweCollege Victor Mete. My son bowled with him at a kids event and he was an outstanding representative of the team. Had the pleasure of sitting beside his parents at a game a few months later & told them he was a great skater & kind person & they said the latter was more important :)
Ms Montgomery’s 3/4s @TweedsmuirS are continuing their experiment with mummifying hotdogs in baking soda, combining learning in SS, Science & Math as they predict and compare how the dimensions of their mummies have changed over time.
Ms Montgomery’s 3/4s are with @MrKindree in our @TweedsmuirS Maker Space participating in our STEM Snowboarding Challenge this morning. Lots of intentional planning and thoughtful conversations taking place!
Great deep thinking from my class.Way to go grade 4/5s. Love the noticing of the addition vs multiplication,Equal groups and symmetry. Great links to move students from additive to multiplicative thinking. #tvdsbtweetmath@AnnMarieParson6@TweedsmuirS@TweedsmuirPS
