What Season 1 did best was to create that all important tension that makes a story great: that will they or won’t they conflict which is central to great films & Jane Austen’s (JA) novels. That is what made S1 a wonderful, riveting & worthy JA story. IMO S2 pales in comparison.

It really shows you where all the negative sentiment on the Sanditon threads comes from these days. If the employees don't care for S1 & their tweets prove it....how sad is that. For me, #RoseWilliams and #TheoJames made that series worth watching.

There's nothing worse than TV execs who try to override the fans& change the story midway through. That whole Antigua story was supposed to be a 10 year flashback to how he changed after Eliza& eventually found Charlotte

I don’t like season 2 plot and male leads. This is not the same story, lack of chemistry and just not the same series which took my heart…

This is why I think the Sanditon Posse is off in left field playing with the daisies instead of focusing on what Sanditon was all about. Charlotte and Sidney finding the HEA we asked to see in that petition of 80,000 signatures.
