@Ibbored @yousirname1338 @Marusame Y'all are misunderstanding what AI is- AI can generate images, yes, but it's also responsible for things like the patch tool in PS, and predictive text on your phone, and autocorrect. AI is and has been present in these things and equating it with MJ theft is a strawman argument.

Royalties paid out to an artist without their consent isn't fair pay, it's reparations at best. Artists deserve to have a voice in how their art is used, and as any other industry.

The AI process is arguably cool, we're lacking the legislation that protects artists or specifies how their work can be used. It's piracy without consequence.
