Over 15 empty beds on this unit. No nurses to staff them. Lots of empty beds all over the hospital, not enough staff. 30+ nurses quit this unit in the last 9 months. We don't need more furniture. We need nurses. We need better pay. We need humane working conditions.

We were 8 ICU nurses short today. EIGHT. Dangerous patient assignments continue. Hard to believe this is what healthcare looks like in a country as wealthy as Canada.
