@logue_phil @AusLandcare @NACC_NRM Hi Phil, sure are. The bottom photos have hardly any ground cover or biodiversity, just couch grass and some dead shrubs. The top photos show new native seedlings and awesome ground cover from the volunteer perennials and wild oats 😁

Look at the difference! This Dandaragan landholder has increased their ground cover and improved on-farm biodiversity through the #NLP Growing Great Ground project. They planted a mixture of Acacia, Callistemon, Eucalyptus and Rhagodia. @AusLandcare @NACC_NRM 🌱

Recently sown perennials to increase year round ground cover on a very sandy paddock near Dongara. The landholders previously used this paddock only 2 months out of the year due to wind erosion. Growing Great Ground is supported by @AusLandcare #NLP and delivered by @NACC_NRM 🌱

The marigolds are starting to flower! Marigolds were planted in this cucumber growing tunnel to attract beneficial insects such as hoverflies, ladybugs and parasitic wasps to control pests. @NACC_NRM ‘Building a Buzz’ project is supported by funding from @StateNRMProgram 🌼🐞

Building a Buzz for Beneficial Bugs insect trapping is underway for 2022! We have one demonstration site in Walkaway and another in Isseka. Information about a Field Walk of the sites in August will be coming out soon, so stay tuned!🌸🌼🐝🐞 @StateNRMProgram

Today our Sus Ag star Anna was soaking up the sunshine in Isseka!

Anna was installing sticky insect traps to collect data on the presence of beneficial bugs at Chally Bridge Farms. These traps will be monitored and replaced over the next 2 months. 💐
