@MrsKPease You will do great things on your next adventure too, Pease. You are an incredible educator with so much knowledge, expertise, commitment and compassion. I just hope a future adventure brings you back to the Shep!
June is Pride Month in the #WRDSB! Today, we are raising the Progress #PrideFlag at every building across the WRDSB, as a symbol of solidarity and inclusion for 2SLGBTQIA+ students, staff and families/caregivers.

@K87525384@wrdsb Our amazing support staff are not part of CUPE but many WRDSB Education Workers and staff were out on the picket line after school time yesterday supporting our CUPE colleagues and we will continue to be out there supporting them for as long as it takes.
@dinah_murdoch @wrdsb I’m so sorry to see the end of this incredible program, Dinah. It had such a positive outcome for so many children. It was the highlight of my career to teach ELI and the training from our ELI gurus truly provided the best professional learning I had ever received!
@HettrickMichael@scottmhayward Who mentioned science? And no one is indoctrinating into an ideology here. How on earth is a sweet little story about respecting others indoctrinating? It’s baffling. Besides, I am under the impression that respect for others underpins most religious beliefs anyway.
@scottmhayward This makes no sense and is a false equivalency What has religion got to do with this? No one is promoting a religion here. Public schools are secular. Nurturing respect and acceptance of all people is not a religious doctrine.
