Iran's exiled prince Reza Pahlavi said on Tuesday that Iran's execution of two protesters arrested during the January uprising was the "consequence of making a deal with this criminal regime," criticizing the US-Iran memorandum of understanding as "morally wrong and strategically misguided."
"This is the consequence of making a deal with this criminal regime. To do a deal with a regime that murdered more than 40,000 protestors in two days in January is morally wrong and strategically misguided," Pahlavi said on X.
Pahlavi said the international community should support the Iranian people's "fight for freedom" and place them at the center of negotiations and Iran policy.
"But let me be clear - with or without international support - this regime will fall. The people of Iran will liberate themselves from tyranny," he added.
My experiences at the stadium yesterday (I was tired from same-day long flight so I may have missed a few things.):
• There were lots of Shir-o-Khorshid flags and shirts in the stadium, which was great to see. Despite the “ban”, it was nice to see so many on display. Freedom of speech matters in the USA.
• Compared to Islamic Republic-friendly Qatar in 2022, the difference was noticeable. Back then, I saw with my own eyes that there were binders at the admission gates listing prohibited items, including Shir-o-Khorshid flags. The security there was hostile and scrutinizing every flag and article of clothing. This time, there were no such binders or checks beyond normal security screening.
• The fans carrying Shir-o-Khorshid flags were supporting Team Melli throughout the match. From what I saw, they were there to support Iran and enjoy the game.
• The Islamic Republic anthem was loudly booed throughout the stadium.
• I didn’t witness any major arguments or confrontations, although I know videos of disputes are circulating online. I’m only speaking about what I personally saw inside and around the stadium.
• The only issue I witnessed involved an older Islamic Republic supporter sitting in the row behind me causing a disturbance and getting what I believe was his grandson to go to security and complain about nearby fans with Shir-o-Khorshid flags, claiming the flags were banned. Security told him to relax and made it clear they were not going to remove anyone’s flag.
• Ironically, a few minutes later, those same Islamic Republic supporters were told to leave because they were sitting in the wrong seats. 👏
• The woman sitting behind me, wearing a regular Iran shirt, was ecstatic when they left. She told me she felt their presence beside her and her two sons had been a bad omen and was relieved to see them go.
• The atmosphere was electric from start to finish. SoFi Stadium is one of the nicest stadiums I’ve ever been to and was an amazing place to watch a World Cup match.
• Like what I saw in Qatar 2022, you can spot an Islamic Republic supporter from a mile away. Ugly to the bone. They always look mangled and angry (physiognomy is real in this case).
A note - I encourage Iranian fans and Shir-o-Khorshid patriots to attend these matches and bring their flags.
In my view, it’s a missed opportunity that some have chosen to boycott the national team when these events provide a chance to make their voices heard in front of the world.
Boycotting only silences your own voice. It’s a self-inflicted loss of an opportunity to be seen and heard.
Overall, it was a positive experience. Fans were there to support Team Melli. It was great to see so many Shir-o-Khorshid flags in the stadium and to see people expressing themselves freely without the issues we saw in Qatar.
The result was disappointing, but the atmosphere and the passion of the Iranian fans made it a memorable.
THE PRICE OF DELUSION
While international diplomats ink a fictional peace memorandum on expensive parchment, the occupying forces in Tehran finalized a different kind of contract.
They sent Javad Zamani and Abolfazl Saedi straight to the gallows. These were two young souls who stood tall during the historic defiance of January 8th and 9th.
This is the unvarnished reality of shaking hands with a terrorist apparatus. Forging treaties with a tyranny that butchered over 40,000 of its own citizens in a forty eight hour window is a severe strategic miscalculation.
A Forty Seven Year War
The outside world needs to wake up to a fundamental truth about this occupation:
No Internal Peace:
A regime that treats its own population as an enemy combatant can never offer genuine stability to the international community.
The Ongoing Assault:
The forty seven year war waged by this Islamist occupation against the people of Iran has never experienced a single second of a ceasefire.
The Cost of Appeasement:
Every concession handed to these tyrants is paid for directly in the currency of Iranian lives.
To the global community watching from afar: if you seek actual stability, the Iranian nation's fight for absolute liberation must be the anchor of your entire geopolitical strategy.
Let us be perfectly clear about the final destination of this struggle. With or without the backing of foreign powers, this rotting infrastructure is going to shatter. The people of Iran possess the sovereign will to tear themselves out of this dark century by their own hands.
Javad Zamani and Abolfazl Saedi will be remembered long after these hollow treaties turn to dust.

The mainstream media isn’t going to show you this.
Before Iran played against New Zealand in the World Cup game last night, FIFA displayed the Iranian regime flag on the field, and it was met with resounding boos.
Fans in the stands were waving the pre-regime flag.
Wild.
Despite FIFA's ban, fans at the Iran vs. New Zealand World Cup match last night made sure their voices were heard, and that Iran's true national flag was visible.
As a deal is being negotiated, Iranians have a message to both Washington & Tehran:
The US may look past their transgressions, but they’ll have to face Iranians inside and outside Iran who will not forgive or forget their crimes.
"Dealing with this regime will fail and we will all face the consequences. The regime’s 47-year war against the Iranian people continues. Just as it has never made peace with its own citizens, it will never truly make peace with the world."
I am standing outside Parliament, where thousands of proud Iranian patriots have gathered to welcome King Reza Pahlavi to Britain!
The atmosphere is electric, alive with hope and fiery spirit. Your Majesty, we stand with you and fight for you forever!
Free Iran! Javid Shah!
Despite all of FIFA’s restrictions, countless Iranians brought the eternal flag of Iran with them to the stadium.
If they saw the flag at the entrance, they would confiscate it. Even inside the stadium, many people had their flags taken away. But an Iranian whose heart beats for their history, culture, and people does not recognize such limitations—especially when those restrictions are created through the collusion of the bloodthirsty Islamic Republic regime and FIFA. Shame on FIFA.

WHERE IS IRAN’S REAL FOOTBALL TEAM?! ⚽💔
THE WORLD CUP IS HERE.
BUT IRAN'S REAL FOOTBALLERS ARE NOT ON THE PITCH.
THEY REST BENEATH THE SOIL. 🕊️🖤
The regime's team does not represent the Iranian people.
Human rights are bigger than football. 🌍🕊️

🦁☀️ Tehran screamed tonight: We are alive!
The regime cut power and internet to silence us.
The people lit up the sky with their phones.
This isn’t a protest —
This is the Revolution of Light!
Iran is awake.

3 Minutes That Will Change How You See Iran: The Truth About the Shah & His Son
This Iranian girl just destroyed the propaganda in 3 minutes 🔥
Before 1979: Women became doctors & judges, the economy was BOOMING, Tehran was more modern than many European cities.
They call the Shah a dictator for 3,500 prisoners in 37 years… while the regime massacred 45,000 people in just TWO DAYS.
The same communists & Marxists who helped overthrow him are now running the exact same smear on Reza Pahlavi — a man pushing for free elections.
The Shah was dragging Iran into the future. That’s why they erased him.
I 100% agree with her. The Left + Islamists are TERRIFIED of Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi because the truth destroys their narrative.
More videos are emerging of Iranians flying Iran’s real flag at the FIFA World Cup
All eyes on June 15th when Iranians will take over sofi stadium with a sea of sun & lion flags
This is for our people inside of Iran 🇮🇷
