These are the pieces of a well-ordered life. It's not a guarantee for success, but if you strive to live life with these priorities, in this order, you will find contentment.
America’s debt just crossed a serious line.
When spending outpaces income, tough choices follow.
This isn’t about politics, it’s about math. Rising debt means higher costs and less flexibility for the future. At some point, the country has to have that conversation.

My goodness. I know it’s hard to ask people to watch anything for 40 minutes these days, but please do watch this. Thought-provoking for the first 2/3 and deeply moving for the final bit, especially the very end. Wow.

Congress is still talking about expanding a system that funnels taxpayer dollars to insurance companies, not patients.
@SofieHamilton is right, if lawmakers are serious about lowering costs, it’s time to focus on patients, not insurers.
Health care costs are too high, & voters know it.
Expanding Obamacare only sends more tax dollars to insurers without lowering prices.
A better approach puts patients first. When people control their own health care dollars, they gain choice, transparency, & real competition.
Healthcare spending has nearly tripled over the last 25 years, and last week Washington tried to extend Obamacare subsidies that help insurers, not patients. That bill failed, but the affordability crisis hasn’t, which is why @AFPhq grassroots team passed healthcare reforms in states across the country. More progress is coming in 2026.
Families don’t need more bureaucracy. They need access to doctors they trust and bills they can actually afford.
@DeanClancy lays out why empowering patients through legislation like @SenBillCassidy and @MikeCrapo's bill beats doubling down on Obamacare subsidies.
President Trump has the right vision for healthcare. And I have a bill to help deliver it.
Instead of burning trillions of taxpayer dollars on handouts to big insurance companies, let’s pass my ACCESS Act and send the money back to the American people. Let them choose the health plan that works best for their families.

Shutdown politics aren’t serving Americans.
Americans deserve a government that works. That’s why we’re demanding transparency, accountability, and an end to this shutdown.
Unchecked extreme rhetoric, like labels as Hitler or fascist, will foment more extreme outcomes.
Political violence is always wrong—no exceptions.
We must all turn the temperature down.
