Space Host. Follower of the one and true Jesus Christ. I love to learn! A follow does not equal an endorsement. Be aware scammers, I’m not giving anything.
@Itis4theanimals@catsareblessing That’s exactly how my great tabby passed sway back at the of February and she was also 10 years old. 😢 Though mine also had liver cancer sadly. I’m so sorry for your loss. 🙏🏼❤️
I’ve seen a lot of hate from especially the Muslim groups; which was predicted by Jesus. People who don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah hate Christians because they first hated Christ.
My point of this post?… That’s a good question. I’m posting because I have a counter question. If Shahriq is lying about his faith and relationship with Jesus then why do you believe so? If it’s the case that he’s lying… then it’s a fairly elaborate lie to make. Why would he bother going so far with this if he’s not telling the truth, because from how I see it, lying this much wouldn’t be worth it.
As far I can tell, I’d consider him a brother in Christ. He understands theology, how a relationship with Jesus works, and that good works isn’t what saves people. It’s God who does that.
John 17:3
[3] And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
Romans 1:19
[19] For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
Bro, when I was Muslim, I used to think I was so holy by washing my feet before prayer.
Islam said, clean yourself before you can stand before God. You do the work. Miss a spot? Do it again. Get dirty? Start over. Scrubbing your record, hoping maybe you’re worthy.
Then I met Jesus.
John 13. The Son of God, robe off, towel in hand, kneeling down to wash His disciples’ feet… right before the cross.
In Wudu, I was at the sink trying to prove I was clean enough for God.
In Jesus, God is on His knees saying, “Let me make you clean.”
Do you understand how wild that is?
This isn’t a servant trying to impress the king.
This is the King becoming the servant, stepping into the mess, the dirt, the shame, and taking it all to the cross.
That’s the difference.
Religion says: fix yourself so God will have you.
Jesus says: I’ll fix you so you can have me.
One is earning.
One is receiving.
One ends in exhaustion.
One ends in freedom.
I used to wash my feet before I prayed.
Now the One I pray to has already made me clean.
Saturday 1pm:
I have this Muslim auntie, and she’s really devout.
Not just culturally, personally. She has a long history of answered prayers. Real things she asked for, and they happened.
I used to wrestle with that.
How do I say Jesus is the only way when her prayer life feels so real—like it saved her from mental hell? If you try to argue with that, you will lose.
Because to her, it’s not a theory. It’s history.
And here’s what most people miss: You can’t tear down someone’s belief system and leave them homeless. You have to show them the home in Christ.
A lot of apologetics today just demolish. Win the argument, lose the soul.
But here’s the truth: Those answered prayers… a lot of them were Jesus.
The character of Jesus.
The mercy of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit moves based on heart posture, not perfect wording.
A sincere heart still matters to a Father who is chasing His kids. That doesn’t make Islam true. It shows how merciful Jesus is.
So yes, expose the cracks. But build Christ louder. Preach the person, not just the proof.
Because my auntie doesn’t need another argument. She needs a revelation.
And Jesus will meet her, even in the middle of praying to someone else. When I prayed to Allah, Jesus was the one who answered me. And I knew it, because I knew His Word, His story, His character.
@Dom1968Juan@NMoonitz I meant Protestant as in a generalization, not all. Also, please explain to me which Protestants aren’t holding to sola scriptura.
@yanwangluo I usually go without makeup and my skin has thanked me for it… that being said, I like the more natural looks on people but I might be biased. Either way I think you look great now, and I’m sure you look great with makeup as well.
@saniyafatma1278 My last fur baby just passed away suddenly a couple months ago… and I found a look-alike to her, and I had to get this precious kitty despite already having a senior kitty and a puppy… so, no. I’d say three is not too many.
Here’s a little Japanese politics and culture for you… 😁 The Japanese culture is civilized, peaceful, rule followers unless it goes against one’s morals… that being said, being disruptive to the regular flow of walk traffic is considered beyond disrespectful.
It’s Japanese citizens currently asking for mass immigration on not happening and yet it is anyway. Which is causing more issues than just regular tourism because there are people claiming asylum and yet… many can’t bother to even bother trying to assimilate to the Japanese culture. That’s because many of these asylum seekers are not compatible with the Japanese.
Meanwhile, the Japanese government is pushing for inclusivity and to accept people into the country as a way to repopulate and to get more workers where there’s not enough laborers. They completely ignore what the citizens want and push for mass immigration anyway.
My point… is that the people of Japan who are currently living there are making a huge deal about these disrupters by daily protesting outside of government buildings. The protesting… keeps growing in numbers by the day.
This is so inappropriate in most public settings, but it’s especially seen as disrespectful in Japanese culture. I tend to agree with them, maybe partially because I’m biased and half Japanese. However, my case in point is that Japan has limited space with a ton of people walking the streets, trying to peacefully get home from work, or people visiting temples and shrines. Demanding for fist bumps and then breaking out into a dance in public is just not acceptable unless there’s a permit and within a very specific amount of space in public. I might get some negative comments and that’s okay. I have my own opinion, you can have yours.
I’m all for people asking questions about what being a follower of Jesus is all about. Though, us Christians who’ve been believers for a while have a responsibility to help guide those with genuine questions. Especially if they’re seeking the Truth of what the Bible teaches. If someone has a question of faith and why they should believe in Jesus, then it is our responsibility to give them the answer. There’s good theology and bad theology; man’s word vs. God’s Word. We should be walking alongside people seeking for the Truth rather than turning them away to find the answers on their own.
Even if say a Christian who’s been saved for a while has a question; I’d suggest giving them credible resources to look at, (mainly and primarily it should always be the Bible.) But say someone has a difficult to answer question, then I’d suggest giving some resources such as credible podcasts, YouTubers, or maybe certain books that can help answer the question so it challenges them to follow through on finding the answers they’re seeking. It’s just a thought and a suggestion for those who might not be so understanding or patient towards people seeking the Truth or they need help to understand a more difficult topic better.
I’d highly, highly recommend World Religion and Cults (Volume 1-3,) by Bodie Hodge & Roger Patterson. You can buy it through the Answers in Genesis website, in which I can list below. I thought this might be a helpful resource for you, Nikki.

@JoeAlderman11 That’s not a bad idea. I don’t live near a body of water, so I usually have to go with flash frozen to thawed from my local seafood store. Very delicious. 😋
@AboMusab1996 Takoyaki is so delicious. 😋 It’s like a savory pancake ball with octopus, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, bonnito (fish flakes,) and dried nori flakes. It is a must try.
