Treasury Secretary Bessent is the best to have ever held this position.
Warren is a clown who can be defined by this Thomas Sowell quote. "It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." Thomas Sowell
@ReneeCollymore Oh, good Lord. At what point did you realize this may not have been the best idea to post. We get the nasty Sasquatch look when she’s lecturing us on what is moral and you all get the Love Ya’s. Yeah. Word of the day…Inauthentic
@Dali_ChrisKool1@catturd2 We are forced to go on Medicare at 65. He’s earned his SS by paying into it, and he shouldn’t get a paycheck while he’s working?
@esgusrdo@GuntherEagleman You are right. Pig would have been a better description. Look at her! She gets bigger by the day. She accomplishes nothing g for this state, and the debate proved just how incompetent she truly is.
My sources are telling me Talarico is in a mental health facility. His campaign has stopped actively planning events in the vital homestretch of the campaign.
If this is true, this is actually a time to pray for Talarico. We should, of course, savagely mock his smug, awful campaign advisors, by all means...and while yes, of course, this would be disqualifying for Talarico's aspirations to be a Texas Senator, we must hold empathy for anyone undergoing crisis. Campaigns are brutal, and not everybody is cut out for it. You need very thick skin. As much as I don't want Talarico anywhere near government, I also don't want wish him harm, and no political office is worth having a breakdown. His awful advisors are at fault for this. They pushed him to be something he isn't, and it didn't work.
I'm praying that this isn't true, and he's OK. You want to win these fights on the battlefield of ideas, not the minefield of poor health.
Nearly $300,000.
That's how much the Fort Hood terrorist collected in Army pay while he sat in a jail cell.
Nov. 5, 2009. Nidal Hasan, an Army major, opens fire on unarmed soldiers waiting for medical checkups. 13 dead, one of them pregnant. More than 30 wounded.
And the paychecks kept coming.
Over $7,000 a month, every month, for almost 4 years while he waited for trial.
The Pentagon confirmed it.
Military rules said his pay couldn't be cut off until he was convicted.
His lawyer says he gave nearly all of it away to charity.
Which charities? The attorney won't say.
So his victims sued and found nothing left to collect.
The Army says it can't claw back a dime.
Meanwhile Obama's government called his terror attack "workplace violence."
That label kept his victims from getting combat benefits for years.
They didn't get their Purple Hearts until 2015, after Congress forced the issue.
The killer got a salary. His victims got a fight.
On Dec. 3 he finally faces a firing squad. 17 years late.
Justice for the Fort Hood 13.
Love this @nypost piece on my friend and fellow NYer @kilmeade - he is one of the absolutely best in the news biz.
Never lost his working class upbringing as he is one of the hardest working people in the media after all these years. Nice article that is well deserved.

@TeamTishHQ@TishJames She has not worked for NY’s one day or one minute. She’s a political hack that weaponizes her office against her political opponents and those she targets personally
@NYCMayor You cannot be more angry than true NY’s and citizens of this country. We are sick to death having our country overrun with ILLEGAL criminals.
We don’t really care about your anger. You are a fraud and need to resign and self deport.
Her bias is already in the first line. “ICE shot a New Yorker in front of a child.” “The victim and their family.” She has already named the criminal the victim and ICE the offender, then asked for an investigation she has pre-judged.
DHS identified him as a Dominican national and a criminal illegal alien with a grand-larceny conviction, prior arrests for assault, robbery, drugs, and weapons, and ties to the Trinitarios. NYPD had him in December 2023 and released him days later under sanctuary rules. That is why agents were on a residential street instead of at the jail door. A 5-year-old was in the car because he had a child in the car during a targeted arrest. He put that kid and everyone around him in harm’s way. The child was unharmed. He is off the street.
Sanctuary is how a non-citizen with that record gets called a New Yorker. Calling him the victim before the facts are out is how the AG sides with the criminal and against the officers doing the job she will not do.
