There are days when politics here just feels heavy 😫

Not only because of the constant struggles in public life, which often feel far removed from the daily realities of people simply trying to get by. It is hard not to feel frustrated watching how those meant to serve the common good sometimes pour so much energy, time, and resources into holding on to power, position, and influence, while many are left navigating rising costs, the pressures of everyday survival, and an uncertain future.

And I will be honest, there are moments when I feel tired of it too. Like public life has shifted from service to performance. Like people are slowly being conditioned to expect less and accept it as normal 😣

What worries me most is not only the frustration, but the quiet fading of hope. That slow normalization of cynicism 😖

But I do not want to stay there.

Because even in that exhaustion, I still believe something better is possible. I still believe we are not meant to simply accept things as they are.

2028 is only two years away. That feels both close and urgent. And maybe that is where reflection has to turn into intention, less about who wins, and more about what kind of politics we are willing to normalize, tolerate, and ultimately choose to build.

It does not always begin with something big. Maybe it begins with being clearer about what we value. More honest about what we will and will not support. More willing to choose what is right, even when it is inconvenient, unpopular, or uncertain.

Because maybe it is not just about winning.

Maybe it is about deciding, together, that we deserve better, and that we are no longer willing to settle for less than what dignity, honesty, and genuine government and governance should look like 🥺

I never really expected myself to become this kind of superfan, especially with how full my life already is with work where time, energy, and heart are always stretched in so many directions. And yet here I am, and even my spouse is part of it too, finding space in our lives to support our dear Mahalima in whatever way we can. And maybe that is already saying a lot, because when people with the busiest lives still choose to care and remain present in different ways, it speaks volumes about #SB19, not just as artists but as incredibly amazing human beings who are truly worth loving and showing up for every single time.

Thank you for giving tips directly to the riders instead of through the platforms. It really makes a huge difference. I also came across a restaurant where you can add food for your rider, and the restaurant prepares it separately for them.

Kindness may seem like such a simple thing for us, but for these workers and their families, it can mean so much more than we realize 😔
