@KalerSushma @BBCNews I've had friends with kids go through the same. Getting letters from the school because of low attendance due to recurring tonsillitis. If a kid is sick their sick ... end of. Attendance stats are just to make the school look good. Nothing to do with the welfare of the child 🙄

@Nicola88583611 @WalesOnline It is Taff not Taf. It's Afon Taf in Welsh and River Taff in English. That's why it's Llandaff in English and Llandaf in Welsh. Llan means 'church on the banks of the river' in this case the Taff.
