Students designed shoes after reading “Why Are Your Sneakers So Bright”. Then, they wrote a persuasive letter to the shoe brand!

Book Madness wrapped up last week. 📚🏀🏆
Students read 12 basketball books to practice before, during & after reading strategies and to review both fiction & nonfiction standards from this year!

I picked up a copy of Coyote Lost & Found which I’ve been so excited for!! @DanGemeinhart AND @DeanRegas was there to talk about the Eclipse on April 8! ☀️🌙📚

What a day!! Today Stuart Gibbs visited our school and our classroom as well. The students really enjoyed his talk, the opportunities to write and have lunch with him & of course to see him walking into a room where they learn every day!
