Professional sport is not a right, it is a privilege. Drug cheats get to come back and have 2nd chances, even though science proves they retain the gains. When caught, the money and moments lost are not repaid. Yes, we can forgive, but we don't have to allow them back in.

Athletes out there, I hear your frustrations on return to racing - I really do.

But just a few considerations:
- progress will be gradual
- everyone (including NGB’s) want comp to return
- those responsible are always going to be more risk averse than athletes/coaches

Doping Control Officers do not ring athletes to give them a heads up that they are looking for them to test them. Disturbing that this is the norm for you
