@RoKhanna How about you and Bernie instead repeal a few regulations that make life so expensive? Reduce gas taxes, fees on electricity, car registration fees etc.?
People in “touchy pride” cultures are also well-versed in not putting themselves in positions where they’re likely to be “disrespected” and told what to do. They learn early on to steer on the side of saving face. Anthony going to another team’s tent meant that he was seeking out conflict.
Every time I see a post attempting to stir trouble here in the U.S., I check where the account is based. Usually these are sitting somewhere in South Asia, like this one. Sometimes Africa.
the diapers were paid for. walmart called the cops on a pack of diapers that were paid for. a mother lost her precious baby. kohen wiley lost his entire life over a pack of paid diapers. acab. defund the police. fund necessities for children. create an actual safety team that is trained in deescalation , can provide resources for necessities and for mental health. these cops need to be charged for murder when they murder.
Karmelo Anthony IS technically penniless. His parents are the ones who set up the fundraiser and collected the money.
It's something people should keep in mind when they donate.
Convicted killer Karmelo Anthony claims he's 'penniless' and demands a taxpayer-funded appeal lawyer — after a fundraiser raised over $633,000 on his behalf.
Public records show his parents activated a Texas business entity just 24 days after the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf at a Frisco track meet.
Lately, on social media, it feels like feminism was invented just yesterday. Women are discovering "de-centering men." As in, focusing on their own education and professional development instead of accommodating their mens' life goals.
I was under the impression that this was a well-known and widely-implemented concept since at least the 80s. I always felt there was a bit too much pressure on women to advance career-wise and to assume leadership roles.
How is it that, after decades of concerted efforts from all directions - affirmative action policies, scholarships, womens' mentoring groups, all designed to advance women professionally - so many women act like choosing their own financial and professional goals is a novel idea?
@SkepticalBlue@wil_da_beast630 I work on family law cases, among others, and see women getting spousal support all the time. The only question is, how much and for how long.
@t_sadiity How frequently and in what capacity do you see this actually happening? I have not seen kids being taken simply because the family was poor, other than for a 2-3 days to do an investigation.
