This clip concerns me greatly
'Where are these people coming from, we didn't have them in my day'
Other language right there.
Sir, we are better educated now we recognise children who have additional needs & of course our population is growing rapidly
Let’s be clear, these kids are not “given” support plans, they require them and are legally entitled to them.
It’s worth remembering that such plans would not be necessary if our education system as anywhere near as inclusive as it claims to be.

@theRCOT Hi - looking forward to reading this! I can’t seem to access the full report via the links in the summary page on the website, am I doing something wrong?
Racism and islamophobia have no place in our society. The outdoors is for everyone.
We are proud to support the @Muslim_Hikers as they work to break down the barriers people can face when accessing the outdoors. #OutdoorsForAll (1/2)

The Princess of Wales looks to be launching a sincere & thoughtful campaign, but it's kind of wild that Sure Start was an evidence-based solution to the problems she's raising, was evaluated and found to be wonderfully successful, and we're sort of pretending it wasn't cut.
@claretarling@SchoolsWeek Snap. Inclusive teaching and reasonable adjustments don’t happen. EHCP only recourse after years of falling behind. And even then the school are refusing to implement the plan. LA insists they should be able to, and we’re stuck in the middle.
The resolution against National Trust participation in Pride was not carried; the resolution against ‘rewilding’ also not carried. The resolution calling for an Ombudsman to regulate the Trust was not carried.
@AliBody1 I feel your pain. 64 week waiting list in Somerset for a neurodevelopmental pathway assessment. And that’s after a 19 week wait to be triaged.
