Jyoti Kumari, the 15-year-old daughter of a migrant laborer, biked 700 miles across India to bring her father home after he was injured in an accident. Now the Cycling Federation of India has taken notice and invited her to try out for the national team.

Day 13 of isolation. Introduction of the fourth dimension (referring to time) in a painting: Blaise Cendrars and Sonja Delaunay, Prose du transsibérien, 1913.
Easter week/day 9 of isolation. Searching for a sense of rebirth and listening to "La Crèation du monde" by Milhaud. Here in the picture "The beginning of the world" by Brancusi.
Despite the chaos, I’m absolutely loving being at home outside of Oslo with my family. I think it’s so important to be something other than one’s occupation. Our work should not define who we are. It’s just a wonderful added bonus.

Day 6 of isolation.
Keeping reading and listening. "La maladie noir", postcard by A. Guillaume, around 1920 (yes, 1000 years ago!) and the funny and at the same time hypnotic Rapsodie nègre of F. Poulenc. Honolouuulouuu. It helps the spirit!!!
Delaying #COP26, doesn't delay promises.
EU leaders must take this moment to ensure public money goes to caring for people, building resilient communities and reducing emissions and other forms of pollution.

Day 5 of isolation/day 17 of social distancing. Since I can't play piano, at least I am reading a lot about music, discovering fascinating stories. For example, the beginning of the Stravinsky Opera Le Rossignol was copied straight from Debussy's Nuages. Bizarre, I am confused!
