❗️ WITH EACH PASSING DAY, AN UNPRECEDENTED CRUELTY IN TURKEY: THE DARK REALITY OF MAMAK SHELTER

In a shocking revelation, volunteers and lawyers have recently entered the Mamak shelter in Turkey, only to uncover a horrifying reality. Sick and dying animals have been left abandoned, with no hope of survival. Meanwhile, breeds considered "dangerous" by law are crammed into filthy, tiny spaces, left to languish in misery.

This place, which is supposed to be a refuge for these innocent beings, has turned into a torture camp. The new legislation in Turkey, intended to regulate animal welfare, is nothing short of a death sentence for many of these animals. How could animal rights in Turkey be so disregarded?

The conditions inside the shelter are beyond appalling. Kennels are overcrowded, with dogs stacked on top of each other, barely able to move or breathe. The stench of neglect and suffering fills the air. This is not just negligence—this is systemic cruelty.

But the worst part? The truth might be even darker. What we’ve seen is likely just the tip of the iceberg. Behind closed doors, the situation could be even more dire. How many more innocent animals must suffer before something is done?

This inhumane practice must end immediately. Turkey, is this how you treat your animals? The world is watching, and we will not stay silent. Raise your voice and demand justice for these voiceless victims. It’s time for us to unite and put an end to this brutality.

@PhaedraXTeddy Yes, it's really difficult to process - self-defence mechanisms kick in. I'm not a violent or aggressive person at all, but this stuff just makes me want to kill the freaks that torture helpless animals - they ceased to be human beings the moment they decided to become monsters.
