@M4nvirSingh23 bc of the topic discussed, i was wondering if the camera dropping was accidental or intentional! it fit perfectly with the topic. and the ending was also perfect, the outcome was not what u expected, but it also ended up being fine. ps this made me rly hungry #videoparty
@Adi_n1829 this video had me wracking my brain for the connections between video and audio, which i think is great! i like how you brought awareness to two issues, the mistreatment of refugees and children on social media #videoparty
@thuyen1515581 makes me wonder if there was irony intended, because a lot of the scenes of nature WERE in reel/tiktok format, meaning you would see that on social media, maybe even while doomscrolling. the sights were so beautiful that many of us cant experience it outside of media #videoparty
@Pyreandfire my favorite specific details in this ltmp was 1) when the ambience/music cuts out to the abrupt sound of the ring dropping and 2) the paintings shown that aligned with the topic being discussed. when the ring dropped it felt like i was woken up from a dream #videoparty
@evan_eyl33 @rohanp_11 i think my favorite part of this project was the visuals being a video game (maybe biased bc i also did that), the similarities you can find between innately violent games and history/real life is actually incredible #videoparty
@evan_eyl33 @rohanp_11 i feel like the distorted voices with the glitching furthered the anti-lecture narrative, like i was reconsidering which reality it was everytime the screen glitched. there are more similarities than i thought between goals in video games and in history #videoparty
@LeoSpring2025 i like when you said 'real' then 'reels', and explored how reels aren't 'real' it felt like the audio was a poem in itself :) #videoparty
when patty said "don't worry about it being good" i felt so much more reassured bc i used to have rly bad perfectionist tendencies and it would stress me tf out #hwa8
when patty talked about flipping the pov so that the people on screen were watching the audience, it did change my perspective on playing with reality in the media that we create #hwa8
i actually love that this class is listed under the creative writing category because with this project and the last, we kind of use the same mental processes that we'd have to use for creative writing. this is also the only class that has pushed the limits of my creativity #hwa8
of course the audio and visual doesn't always match, but they do feel "correlated" once u get a little used to the randomness, and i think it's the mismatched energy that allows us to have interpretative freedom #painteddreams
