Alnwick Harriers are pleased to announce that the Northumberland Coastal Run will be held next year on Sunday the 27th July 2025 with a 10.30 start to accommodate for the tide that day.

Course Record Alert 🚀🏆👑

A bumper turnout of 162 runners on a stunning morning was capped by a new course record by Morpeth Harrier Phillip Winkler who blasted through wet and muddy conditions underfoot in a sensational 15.14.

Tomorrow’s Druridge Bay parkrun (10th Dec) is sadly cancelled due to a frozen course. 😥

One of our dedicated (some might say mad) Run Directors has just run the course and it is frozen & unsafe. With temperatures set to fall further, we have no alternative but to cancel. ☃️

Sadly the park is still in a bit of a mess after severe damage caused by Storm Arwen and will not be open this weekend. So there’s no DB parkrun on Sat Dec 4th, but there’s loads of options locally at Newbiggin, Alnwick Pastures, Blyth & Carlisle Park (Morpeth)

GB Triathlete Dan Dixon smashed our course record by 14 secs this morning. He recorded a stunning time of 15.17 to capture fellow Morpeth Harrier Carl Avery’s course record from 2016
