There are good bones and families on #Days, but as a fan it's difficult to hang in with so many questionable writing choices lately.
Lexie, Peter, Kristen, so much focus on the youngest characters, lack of story for Johnson family (other than Stephanie) to name a few...
On #Days, we absolutely need new characters that are unrelated to the main families, but Cat Greene has now had plenty of time to become rootable but sadly is still not.
I'm now more interested in Aaron sticking around (after Tate and Holly leave), then her.
Why are the #Days writers wasting is so much precious airtime and dialogue on EJ's assistant Rita?
That character is no Vivian's Ivan or Stefano's Rolf. She should just be referred to like Harold the butler.
On #Days, John Oliver's visit was a ridiculous waste of a golden opportunity. What did we just watch?
Any fans of his, who only tuned into Days, who may have become soap fans, will now just continue to make fun of the genre. #GH absolutely won that round.
With Ron's interesting stories & dialogue, I happily overlooked the lack of new sets on #Days. I struggle to do that now.
The current writing style is not distracting me from noticing the constant re-dressing of the same rooms & the use of the same furniture everywhere. 🙁
It seems #Days is pinching pennies so much that the same extra who usually plays a nurse at the hospital is now also a waitress at the Brady Pub.
Sad sign.
I bet Tracy had cameras installed at the boathouse after Willow accused her of pushing her into the lake.
After watching what Nina did, Tracy and Michael will probably now see what Willow will do to save Nina. #GH
I just have to give a big shout out to #GH. It has been fantastic lately. Very balanced and very clever.
Plus, I love how the younger cast and the older cast are taking turns delivering some excellent lines. Kudos, everyone!!
Aww...really liked the scenes between Jack & Gwen today. Hopefully their plan to improve their relationship brings Jack back to Salem permanently.
Good to also see Jack on the same day that MBE's 40th was being celebrated with great flashbacks. #Days
I think #Days should do what Survivor, Season 50 did - Turn it over to the fans. And whatever options are chosen, that's what is written.
Besides plot, they would find out quickly which characters could easily leave the canvas, and which should definitely not.
Wow, could feel Sidwell's death stare through the screen today. Absolutely nailed it. Excellent villain. Has been entertaining from the start.
Very wise of #GH to hire an actor with such a fantastic resumé to handle the role.
This pairing of Jada & Theo on #Days is just ridiculous.
She slept with contemporary Shawn Brady & is now planning to sleep with his daughter's ex-boyfriend who was also his baby sister's best friend.
It's a huge miss for me. Can't hit the FF button fast enough.
Susan on #Days has come a long way. She's still got crazy teeth, but a good heart. Her scenes also involve a lot of welcome comedy. Recent examples:
EJ boyishly imitates her standing with one leg up on a chair, while reading her phone.
She hugs EJ with Cat squished in-between.
Unpopular opinion: Gwen & Leo on #Days add a lot of good story.
Admittedly, I didn't like Gwen at first (Stabi obstacle), but now she is Jack's daughter & Dmitri's wife.
Leo is fun, can naturally reference current pop, and is connected to Diana & John (Spectator/Greece).
Stephanie & Alex on #Days need to change.
It was an interesting experiment to see Ben go & Alex stay, but now it just seems like they exchanged Ciara for Stephanie.
Once again all those two ever do is smooch. She's even got a scary book fan right now & it's still FF material.
