@DrNickB_ObAnaes @afif_elKhuffash Assume the role was developed as part of the departments service development and the consultants are happy to sign off on care. Personally I will not sign off on anaesthesia care that is not delivered by an anaesthetist who has progressed through the appropriate training.
@afif_elKhuffash At a time when medical care has never been so technical, complex, and nuanced, let's not reduce the training opportunities for the consultants of tomorrow, who already take responsibility for their decisions today.
@afif_elKhuffash Credentialling, standardisation of training, ethical and legal accountability should be with the individual providing care as it is with all medical doctors. Clearly they are not trained and educated similarly to doctors if they cannot be held accountable for their decisions.
We, descendants of Holocaust survivors, call on the world on this Holocaust Remembrance Day to join us in working to end the Israeli government’s genocide against the Palestinian people, enabled and supported by the US government.
@afif_elKhuffash Remember also other genocides including An Gorta Mór where 1 million Irish people were starved to death over 6 years. Common factors include segmented society, exclusivist political ideology, international tolerance of state encouraged mass murder. Is it a bit too on the nose...
It's weird watching the West using WW2 to explain the creation of a Palestinian ghetto that is Gaza, then also using it to justify the genocide that is ongoing. This is not about religion. Its about wealth, resources, politics. Terrible for all Jewish and Muslim families.

@DrEliDavid ‘All opinions are your own’ . I am thankful for that. You could not be further from the truth.
It is an embarrassment to Twitter that you have such a large following.
@joloughlin100 @hotpress@sinnfeinireland@MaryLouMcDonald I totally agree John. I was in the Rotunda. We never felt unsafe. The gardai steadily controlled the crowd. The crowd decided on property destruction. The gardai could have escalated which would have resulted in a free for all with brutal consequences for both sides.
@SocDems@GaryGannonTD I was on site in the Rotunda. I saw nothing but professionalism and control from the gardai @gardainfo I was so proud of them moving forward and clearing streets in the face of a rabble, a mob of thugs, set on looting and violence. Shameless political posturing.
Watching the "A Ring and A Prayer" series on @rte about multicultural couples in Ireland. It's just the most wonderful production and is extremely apt this week. 💖
Well done to all involved. @afif_elKhuffash
So let me get this straight? Irish men are burning buses, trains, cars, smashing windows, looting stores, terrorising the city, preventing women from visiting the Rotunda safely, attacking Gardaí- because they think "foreigners" are the problem?
Not a brain cell between them
It's sad that todays news story is anti-immigrant antisocial destruction and riots. It could be about progressing much needed mental health supports, the amazing collaboration that saved children's lives. When these minority take over the city and the media, the rest of us lose.
So proud and impressed with my Rotunda colleagues and our amazing police force last night. Standing strong, getting the work done. Professional. You are the best representation of Ireland and all the cultures and nationalities who live here. 👏 ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜
