In 2025, over 326 humanitarians killed. Over 1,010 in three years.
My challenge to the Security Council: if we fail to defend humanitarians, the integrity of the Council dies with our colleagues.
Maybe that is why flight seats from Nairobi were so expensive for 3 Nov when I was trying to book them yesterday. Booked for 2 Nov instead and saved over US$ 500!
Wonderful conversation today with my Kenyan neighbour's children. Apparently the #ToothFairy does also visit in Kenya, and the going rate is 10 shillings per tooth (about 6p). I was petitioned to advocate on the children's behalf for a higher rate! #inflation

Thinking of @sas_yvonne today and her ongoing fight for justice for her son Isaac, on what would have been his 5th birthday. Working for UN should not result in paying such a high price. https://t.co/Jnf0tskTJg
The targeting of humanitarian workers and facilities continues in #Sudan.
We're receiving reports of attacks and sexual violence against aid workers.
And yesterday, our @UNOCHA_Sudan office in South Darfur was looted.
This is unacceptable and must stop. #NotATarget
A video for “Judas” was presciently released by @MrDenMiller yesterday related to the Nice terror attack but is sadly as relevant today due to the #TelAviv#terror attack https://t.co/3EDuPwFc6U
