Why did we need to update the human genome reference sequence? When it was created during the Human Genome Project, around 70% of it came from only one person with blended ancestry, which includes African, European, Admixed American, East Asian and South Asian ancestry.
There are no stationary objects in the Universe: even our Solar System is moving not only around the center of the Galaxy (828,000 km/h) but also relative to its nearest stellar neighbors (70,000 km/h)

Ever felt like you’re not getting any research done because of all the data processing agreements, data management plans etc?
Remember that sensitive data can’t fly without legislations and agreements. Think of them as your tools, not obstacles
Much of cross-ancestry transferability research on polygenic risk scores (PRS) looks at lab values or other continuous traits.
