For years, Anthony Fauci has dodged, deflected, and hidden behind a pardon.
On July 29th at 8:30 am, that ends. Fauci will finally testify before my committee.
Mark your calendars.
@Alina_Cameron We need to ask why there are more fires burning? Are they doing controlled burns for prevention? Or is that not allowed because of the federal governments climate policies?
Canada is the only G7 country (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom, United States) without a dedicated national wildfire response agency or equivalent centralized federal body for wildfire management and response.
@Alina_Cameron Sure, that's why I pointed out the healthcare budget. It takes up largest % of the entire budget. Still it is inadequate. Reality is, Ontario is struggling, especially with businesses leaving for the US. And we have an influx with immigration. Everything is breaking at the seams.
@WeTheNorth_23@DefazioIvano Ivano is 100% wrong. These are no longer in production. De Havilland is instead manufacturing a heavily upgraded next-generation successor, the DHC-515 Firefighter...but there are supply constraints and massive backlogs.
@DefazioIvano Wrong! Original CL-415 water bomber no longer in production...rights sold to De Havilland Canada in 2016. De Havilland is manufacturing a heavily upgraded next-gen successor, DHC-515 Firefighter, supply constraints and massive backlogs means years-long waits for new aircraft.
I am in tears. President Trump just announced our VETERANS will replace illegals as truck drivers โค๏ธ
โAny American thatโs driven a heavy truck for our military is automatically eligible for a commercial drivers licenseโ
THIS IS HUGE NEWS ๐ฅ
@YzabettaSativa For more clarity, the budget was $177 million from 2022 - 2024. 2025 was $135 million, 2026 increased to $150 million. The increase was a good idea. Wonder if anything else in the budget experienced a cut in 2025.
@rikayla@sdcctnj@EVYSTADIUM@ONFireChiefs From 2022 - 2024, the budget was $177 million. Brought down to $135 million in 2025, and now increased to $150 million plus 6 water bombers. Was firefighting the only item in the budget that experienced a cut in 2025? It would be interesting to know.
@YzabettaSativa Okay, sure. Break it down then to show it all adds up to $184 million. How many years back do you have to go? And while you're at it, you have to look at everything else in the Ontario budget for more clarity.
