There’s a moment when our @wckitchen teams, alongside the rescue crews in Venezuela, stop what they’re doing and listen for signs of life beneath the rubble. It’s the hardest moment for everyone, especially families searching for their loved ones, like José Miguel Montilla. His daughter and his son-in-law remain trapped beneath the collapsed debris. Rescue teams have located them, but José Miguel says the waiting is unbearable.

The need for rescuers and heavy equipment is overwhelming. Neighbors have become first responders, digging, lifting, and searching with whatever tools and strength they have, standing side by side with the professionals. Because of safety concerns, our @wckitchen teams are delivering water and food by hand, ensuring that every responder, volunteer, and family member receives support where they are. #ChefsForVenezuela

When Saturday's attack hit Shostka, Ukraine, families found themselves without electricity, gas, or water. Within hours, WCK’s #ChefsForUkraine team was there. We served hot meals to neighbors and first responders and kept working through the aftermath.
