People will believe what they want to believe and take things out of context. I will not argue nor light more fire towards an artist/person who thrives off of negativity.
The messages behind the pieces (whether you like the concept or not) are not the same. I created a series of stereotypes and microaggressions that society tends to place on people of different races... not the decisions of a young basketball player.
@Mister_Spiteful I did. I go in depth on my instagram for each of the individual stories and submissions I received within each race. There is a quote that goes with every microaggression that I illustrated.
#WhatAreYou I started this series to bring light to the stereotypes that plague our society. It’s about Who we are and What makes us special. We all have a different walk of life, but at the end of the day, we’re all Human.
your friends SHOULD disagree when you're in the wrong. they shouldn't agree with everything you do/say. let them correct you when you're wrong, debate your points...this isn't the mark of a false friend but one that encourages your growth instead of complacency.
when was the last time you sat and gave yourself credit for how much you’ve grown and how far you’ve come? when was the last time you celebrated a relatively small win, just because? when was the last time you just sat down and said out loud, “I'm really really proud of myself?”
I finally knocked out all of the commissions that were weighing me down. I’ve held off on these projects because of lack of inspiration. It just feels good to be done.
